Michael Maloney - IT and Support System

I was born in Maryland and I lived there till I was fourteen years old when my Father (a retired Chemist of three years), being the adventurous soul that he was, moved our family to Missoula, Montana (The Great West he called it). I attended High School in Missoula then attended the U of Montana, did foreign exchange in college in Italy and after that I moved to many states: Connecticut, South Carolina, Florida, Washington, Utah, Arizona, North Carolina, And of course Oregon.

During all of my travels I have seen a lot and learned even more... I took thirty-five years, fourty-nine states four countries and over three million miles to finally find the woman of my dreams, and now I am married to her! Meagan and I have been married for three years and it has been a TRIP just ask the kids (5). We have seen the country together and been in blizzards and floods and wind storms. All this has made us a great family despite all the challenges. I am proud of them all!

Ever since I was a little boy I have been taking things apart and rebuilding them. Sometimes with great success, but other times I sat there scratching my head and wondering why I have so many parts left over, when it is all back together??? And what is strange is sometimes they worked without the parts in them???? Well, this leads me to my career; I was an Equipment Engineer Technician V for eleven years in the semiconductor industry. I am now trying my hand at Facilities Technician III at the same company I started with. I also work for free at Fairy Cove Silks; I am the IT guy and the plumber and the electrician and the logistics expert as well as business consultant and presser and Etc ... I would say my most important job is bouncing board and shoulder to lean on!

During the last five years I have brought motorsports to the family. I have been riding since I was very little, but my wife and stepchildren have not. I bought all of the kids a four wheelers (Quads) then we got a very large Toy Hauler and went to the sand dunes in Idaho and Oregon. Meagan and the kids took to it like little Evil Knievels. All of us all had grins from ear to ear. I also like the outdoors, hiking and camping and just laying in the mountains listening to the nature.

My goals are to get the kids educated and smart enough to be successful out in this world, as it is getting tougher each and every day. I have told the kids if they come home someday and Meag and I are gone, that we will be in Fiji! I plan to buy Yacht 100+ ft and find treasures and a soft warm beach for Meag and I to build sand castles and watch the rest of our sunsets together!
