Colorstyle for the Month of March:
Green to Gold!
Green to gold was originally dyed last St. Patricks Day 2009, while meditating on the likely embodiment of such appropriate colorings.
I offer up Green to Gold in memoriam to a very special person I would like to honor with this color this month.
I dyed this colorstyle with the intention of honoring my husbands Irish Catholic heritage. His father, Owen Clorin Maloney was the most amazing man, cherished community-wide as the beloved patriarch of this abundantly sized family. Owen passed away last summer, and is most deeply missed! To Owen, this St. Patricks Day, I hope you'll all join me in a hail and hearty cheer for all of us and our love of our family. We know he'd happily raise a beer and join in the cheer!
This colorstyle pairing greens with gold tones is a rich and pleasing palette.
I envision it as if it perhaps it IS the Pot of Gold. Greens and golds mean many things: Family, Prosperity, Healing, Nature & Earth
