All custom orders can be placed throughout the site - the option is usually offered at the bottom of every product.
Nonstock orders would be one of our colorstyles just not stocked on the product you need. We don't charge additional, though it may take a bit longer. Nonstock is orderable near the bottom of every page. Just enter your information!
Our basic pricing is seen across our products, offering single color products such as silk squares and veils for substantially less. Our Single Tonal Colors are all the colors on our color chart. Dilutions, blends and wholly new colors are possible. Our colors have definite blushes of texture. If you have preferences, please do let us know with an email after you place your order.
Some colors we work with are not on our color chart - such as Teal, Magenta, and Black, but of course, are available to order as 'nonstock colors' or perhaps you have a 'custom' color you'd like to match to send or scan of a swatch?

Blends are a great 'buy' for no additional pricing, blends offer several colors with lots of feel. We apply the dyes the same as our single tonal colors so have passed the savings on to you.
Our Blends tend to offer a MEDIUM TEXTURE, with some density to give some feeling of depth. Blends are kind of dreamy overall. Blends can be very sexy, you'll find them on our lingerie, for example, and also our body wraps sets. Blends can be suitable for dailywear clothing as seen by the many scarves stock in blends. Blends are often selected for coordinates of dance costume, or decor as our blends coordinate well with many of our patterns.
Our 'Patterns Pricing' is found widely throughout the site as quite the majority of our sales involve patterned silks, such as rainbows types. These require more table space - sometimes LOTS of it - with processing times that limit our production ability. We have strong demand for these colorstyles and stock many of them.
Our diverse Patterns make bold statement and often bring cohesiveness of many colors together by their beautiful transitions of color. We stock over 50 patterns in our veils, which are great to look at because they are photographed so you get a good feel, click here to see. We work hard to make the magic happen and this is where we shine. As our skill has grown, it seem the customer demand for quality has also grown! We work on heavier weights with great effect as well. Rainbows remain our most popular colorstyle, which is not difficult with as many varied rainbows we skillfully produce. BiColors are very limited in the products we stock in, mostly in Dance Costume. BiColors coordinate are designed to coordinate with many heavier patterned styles offering a Large, Medium Texture - great for layering and mix/matching - and are supplied as a more basic coordinate that still has flash and swirls of color. BiColors have infinite possibilities. BiColors could be ordered on any of our products under NonStock Colorstyles near the bottom of every product page for no additional charge.
Vertical patterns are placed onto the silk lengthwise. This is generally done on only large, long pieces, giving an incredible lengthening effect. We only stock these on a few veil or heavier pieces but you'll find they have their coordinates. Vertical veils make one wish to design their costume around the veil. Custom Options are available at the bottom of product pages. Design a Vertical Veil of your own colors.

Symmetrical veils have a lovely flow about them. We will be dyeing half circles fully symmetrical in the future. Some patterns are considered symmetrical because they tend to have a border of a single color framing their edges, such as Silk Road or Snow Queen.
Tonal fades were developed especially for 4yd veils, though they are now also stocked on our traditional ultralight 3yd veil due to their popularity. We are adjusting the colors slightly on these to have a deeper bolder color paired with the softer tones plus white. If you have particular 'fade combinations' you would like to see - please feel free to order under custom found at the bottom of all our products. You could even specify how narrow or wide you’d like each section of color, or if you'd like the fades very soft or rough - which can make quite a difference in feel and visual presentations.
Heavy texture blends may or may not have large repeats of pattern. Mostly what defines them is that they have heavily contrasting colors that stay quite separate and defined and meander throughout the fabrics. They may often have white remaining in them as part of their design. They may have some of the boldness and drama because of the way the dye is applied. This may be an effect that you like. If you're custom ordering this type of design style, know that they can be unpredictable. This is due to the amounts of liquids at hand mixing or not mixing in addition the fabric being somewhat dry.
Our Flower Starburst family is very Bold, and Playful. It can be quite decorative when gathered into a draping swag, calming the bright patterns just a bit. It could be called loud or garish, but we prefer to see it as energetic. The starbursts were created one for each season, only 4 in all. The last one, Winter Solstice celebrates the "Return of the Sun". Starbursts can be customized to your colors. All custom orders can be placed throughout the site at the bottom of every product.
Our Spirals look different depending on how many colors are in there and what is done with them. Our clouds spiral has been dyed a deeper color over the blue tie-dye giving it a wintry-pewter look. Mostly stocked in patterned veils, easily ordered on most any product.
These products are newly available Winter 2009. If you like this style of dyeing, consider it possible to have black garments to achieve this effect. We can sew you a black garment or perhaps you can supply. Avail with rayons and cottons. Currently only stocked and available in our popular Ultralight 5mm 45x108 inch Dance Veil, though we've already filled custom sized scarf orders.
