SIZE   Selection of Your Half Circles

FIRSTLY, let's figure out the SIZE you  want,

   ....then we can go from there to decide the WEIGHTof SILK you would like.  FINALLY - let's decide color!   EASIEST RULE OF THUMB IS TO GO WITH YOUR HEIGHT

If You are   shorter than  5'4"  you will most likely prefer MEDIUM

If you are taller than  5' 8"  we suggest XLARGE for your taller body frame and reach

If you are very short, prefer small sizes, or for children,  try  XSMALL or SMALL

Many weights are available to    please you,  so decide on your size...   then the weight! 

WEIGHTS  & WEAVES    Selection of Your Half Circles

We offer many varieties of silke -  weaves are commonly made of Habotai, but we offer Half Circles in Silk Chiffon,  Silk Satins, and even Silk Crepe!  

Each weave has different characteristics, and each weight of each weave varies as well...  The larger the number, the heavier the silk.  Smaller number, the lighter.  USUALLY lighter silks are easier to handle,  and there are many benefits in heaviers silks, especially in performing with double veil.      We suggest if you are unsure, consider a 6mm weight for being a light, durable weight that will last, flow well, and not be too heavy or too light.  You may find less of these on our site, if you see them instock, they are a great find! 

With all that said,  many factors come together, in your decisions. Lighter silks are more affordable, so choose  materials that meet your budget  and purpose.   5mm is cheaper than 6mm -- and currently 6mm and 8mm share the same pricing as they cost about the same.  The differences are subtle,  and worth exploring. 

Also, there is no CORRECT size/weight/weave of half circle -  this is why we offer so very many!  Lots of preferences and each size has special qualities that make them worth owning. You will likely find you have preferences and this will help you decide to order or purchase something you see instock, but is perhaps an unknown fabric or weight to you.  Dont worry!  All of our Silk Half Circles are AMAZING!

If you wish to match many costumes, select a range that has 3 or more colors.   If you wish to dedicate to one costume, consider single colors or those styles that have only 2 tones.
