Hand Dyed and Made in the USA

Did you KNOW that all of our silks that we make at our studio are 100% Hand Dyed???

Fairy Cove Silks dyes all its fabrics in-house at our retail store and production studio in St. Helens, Oregon. We are in the Pacific NW of the USA. We don't spend much time promoting this amazing fact of genuinely coloring our own fabrics and products -- most of our customers already know and appreciate this deeply. Perhaps this is why we have devoted customers in major and minor cities the world over!

Another amazing fact we are so proud of is the fact that we are indeed considered a Made In Usa product. As we materially alter the silk fabrics 100% though our production processes, even though our silk fabric materials originate overseas. We enjoy our partnership in supporting Asian export of a rightfully indigenous product to the Orient: Silks. This is a wonderful partnership. We dye all our silks by hand using tables and silks and bottles and brushes, fire and heat and in small dye lots. We dye thousands of yards of silk per month, in many weaves and weights ... Always artistically beautiful, durable and of the highest quality. We sew our childrens products 100% in the USA as well for highest quality assurances.

SAQRA Event Coming Up

We are excited to be at the Saqra Showcase again in APRIL We were warmly welcomed last fall for our debut attendance.

We will be building an interactive display for VEIL SIZING where our customers can try on, move, and explore ALL (did I say *all*?) of the many different sizes, weaves, weights, shapes, and hems of veils.

We think this is going to be an amazingly fun time and we hope to see you there! We encourage current customers to make any special requests for items to bring.....

New Veil Options:

'Tribal Style'

Some of our finished pieces end up more intense than others and we have named this style into something that can actually be ordered!

We are now offering 'tribal pattern' options for all nonstock and custom veils! This tribal option intensifies the color contrast to create a more dramatically colored veil. There is more interaction and is not intended for the meek-of-heart.

'Hems': Do you prefer Serged or Hemmed? ...on 2 or 4 sides ??

Fairy Cove can accomodate you! As we always have... now you can easily order it on the website!!

We love our standard hem that is a flat machine hem approximately 1/8th of an inch on either end of our rectangles but not all the way around.

Sometimes, though you might want or need something different ..... we are officially making orderable online now the option to get your veils serged on two sides, serged on four sides, or hemmed on four sides.

If you already Love our hems, you don't need to do anything at all!! Fairy Coves' reduced professional hems creates optimal movement for dance!

You can find any of these HEM OR TRIBAL DYE STYLE options in any nonstock or custom colorstyle veil section. We are sure you will no doubt keep the seamstress busy!
