These fans are sized well for those who would like to have less fan to manage or who have body sizes proportionately smaller to size with the fan.  Generally if one is ample of weight and shorter of height, this size may be well-preferred,   in addition to sizing appropriately for older children or teens,  or those whose height lends itself to  less length in a fan.

Remember, if you have a shorter length, you may not be able to do spinning body wraps - unless your body is proportioned to the fan!  If you have a shorter length, you may enjoy having more freedom to not have to keep the  fans aloft and may feel more confident with working with a pair.
